There will be times and occasions when we may wish to have different, or even more, spiritual abilities than what we presently have.
It is wise to have ‘patient acceptance’ regarding this and accept that we have the abilities that we have in this moment and that, we may try to be humble, grateful and appreciative of them.
We may look at others on their path and we may think that they seemingly appear to be doing so well and are amazing. That they are doing so much better than we ourselves are, so much so, that we may desire to have the same as them, the same ability or same capacity or the same mind or same awareness etc, especially when it comes to spiritual aspects and working with Spirit,
Other times we may look at others and have a thought or feeling of envy or jealousy of them and their abilities. We should be mindful that envy and jealousy stem from ego and that in true nature, none of these things exist, and if the mind has developed a pure mind of Acceptance, these aspects do not appear in our awareness.
We should accept that someone else’s path is their path, and that it is in harmony with their karma ripening, and that our path and our abilities, awareness etc is in correct harmony with our own karma and its ripening in this moment.
Accepting that others are on their path and doing exactly what they think is correct for their path, reflects that our mind has attained some degree of Acceptance and this is beneficial for our own spiritual practice, it also reflects to others, the beauty in the benefits of Acceptance.
Therefore, it tells us that we should focus upon our own path and journey and embrace all that appears upon it, including all the wonderful spiritual aspects and facets of our own awareness.
When we take a look into the area of working with the energies of spirit and spiritual matters, we can see that there are numerous areas where the need for Acceptance is essential. The first is within ourselves, the second, is with and towards spirit, and the third, is in regards to a recipient.
In the moment of the here and now, there is a wonderful feeling in Accepting that life is, as it is.
